Isaac’s Anchors & Adventures

2024/2025  Life is chaotic and there are ups and downs. catching up on a year and a half of updates for Isaac is a lot.I found a better app so hopefully I can post more updates more often, at least once a season i’m gonna try Big move last year and a new blending of families. Isaacs dad and mom split & share custody amicably enough. Mom and her fiancé Bobby live in one home and dad lives in another just a town or so away. Isaac found comfort in both new homes and tested limits with climbing dining room tables. Always finding sunshine where he can. We had fun camping Summer 2024, slept in the tent in his own sleeping bag Getting him out of his comfort zones. He had some growing pains which is hard when he can’t tell me what specifically hurts / Arnica lotion is great.  Fall farms and pumpkin patches  school days Isaac & Bobby (Charvel’s fiancé) Christmas light drives and walking around.  He had a good school year in a new school.  Isaac is wild most days. He is so smart and also mischievous. He has had a good christmas break! He will return back to school in January in the Developmental Skills class. He is in first grade and loves PE/dance & music classes. He loves being outside, even in the chilly weather. 

Most days Isaac is pretty happy. & now with spring and sunshine he is more energetic and happy. He is being more vocal and has intentional actions. He will seek out to sit in your lap and give cuddles. He will also give kisses, sometimes they are licks or a bite. He is finishing up the school year with a good team of teachers. He will do a round of intensive therapy using reflex integration which is for 3 week every weekday morning. After that he will have summer school (extended school year). I (Charvel/mom) will be looking for different opportunities in the summer for Isaac to participate in activities with other children.  We are also looking for a caregiver who can work with him weekday afternoons and be able to do some meal prep and housework.
